Keeping Criminal in Prison is Unproductive

Keeping criminal in prison ideally makes no production. The prisoner just pass their punishment period without doing anything in the prison.Once a person is kept in jail, he/she has to served by the government. Before taking into the prison,the accused himself has to pay the amount for the meal but after,the judgement that he/she is declared as the prisoner ans send to the prison, the government itself should be responsible for him. So, the more the prisoner, the more will be the expense of government. Thus this decrease income rate of the nation. In the law also it is stated that the prisoner should not work in the prison. This also makes unproductive in nature.

So for the production the should provide healthy environment with the psychological treatment and makes them responsible for their work. The also should provide such provision which enhance the production and from which the prisoner can also contribute something to the nation. If the prisoner don't have any capacity, there should be the provision of training, so that they can work and increase the production.

Hence, criminal can also work in prison if they have given proper opportunity to work.
